COUNTRY: ITALY

REGION: VENETO

SUB-REGION: VALPOLICELLA & SOAVE

FEATURES: VVG

SCAIA is the contemporary label from Tenuta Sant’Antonio. The brand takes its name from the chalky, white “scaia” soils typical of parts of the region, with fine limestone fragments that lend freshness, tension and aromatic lift to the wines. Situated across Valpolicella and Delle Venezie zones, the vineyards benefit from continental influence tempered by breezes from nearby Lake Garda and alpine airflows, enhancing aromatic complexity and acidity. SCAIA wines focus on local varietals such as Garganega, Corvina and Rondinella, crafted with a blend of traditional respect and modern precision. The resulting wines are clean, expressive and versatile, showcasing Veneto’s soil signatures and careful varietal character.
