Corte Pavone is a biodynamic winery rooted in the storied hills of Montalcino, a zone synonymous with some of Italy’s most profound expressions of Sangiovese. The estate embraces a holistic approach to viticulture, managing its vineyards according to biodynamic principles that enrich soil health, enhance vine resilience and promote ecosystem balance - all with the intent of capturing site specificity and purity of fruit in every vintage. Terraced plantings on galestro limestone soils and elevations that benefit from cool diurnal shifts allow Sangiovese to develop natural acidity, structural tension and aromatic complexity. Production remains deliberately small and highly selective, with hand harvesting and traditional cellar techniques reinforcing a commitment to quality over quantity.

The estate’s Fior di Meliloto Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Cru reflects this ethos with layered fruit, fine tannins and a persistent mineral thread, whilst the Campo Marzio Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Cru, sourced from old vines in the warmer, Campo Marzio vineyards, combines intensity with poise and regularly earns 95 points and above from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, underscoring its balance and depth. At the pinnacle of the range sits the Vigna “Poggio Molino al Vento” Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG - a biodynamic flagship - achieving 97 points from Decanter World Wine Awards and multiple 95+ scores internationally for its concentration, structural refinement and length, positioning it among Montalcino’s most compelling Riservas. Together, these wines articulate Corte Pavone’s dedication to terroir-driven expression, biodynamic stewardship and small-scale excellence that resonates with critics and collectors alike.
