AUTUMN PORTFOLIO TASTING

On Monday 14 September, Carson & Carnevale Wines will present Autumn Snapshot Portfolio Tasting at 67 Pall – bringing together more than 160 wines from across our increasingly diverse international portfolio. A free-pour trade tasting for the trade, starting at 10.30am and running until 4pm.

Designed for sommeliers, buyers and members of the UK wine trade, the tasting will offer an opportunity to explore everything from internationally renowned estates and classic regions to new producers, emerging wine countries and wines that we believe deserve a place on today’s most exciting lists.

Among the names available to taste will be Leonardslee Family Vineyards, Villa Sandi, Gaja, Marchesi di Barolo, Bodegas Palacio, Jorge Piernas, Grgich Hills Estate, Silver Heights and Célèbre, alongside many more producers from across Europe and the wider wine world.

Getting Wine in the Glass

At C&C Wines, we believe that ultimately there is no substitute for tasting.

Our portfolio is increasingly built around wines with genuine points of difference – whether that comes from provenance, terroir, grape variety, winemaking, heritage or simply exceptional quality and value. Our Autumn Snapshot is an opportunity to put those wines into the glass and allow sommeliers and buyers to make those discoveries for themselves, under their own steam.

To help guests navigate more than 160 wines, we have created a series of curated Wine Trails, highlighting wines across different styles, occasions and commercial opportunities. Whether looking for a new by-the-glass hero, a future classic, a lesser-known grape variety or something capable of adding a genuine talking point to a list, the trails have been designed to encourage discovery beyond the familiar.

Two Very Special Masterclasses

Alongside the main tasting, we will be hosting two intimate producer masterclasses.

Marchesi di Barolo will take guests deep into one of Italy’s most historic wine regions, including the opportunity to explore individual crus and mature vintages from an estate intrinsically linked with the history of Barolo itself.

Later in the afternoon, Silver Heights will offer a very different journey – to Ningxia and the extraordinary evolution of fine wine in China. The masterclass will provide an opportunity to discover one of the country’s leading estates and explore the quality, terroir and ambition now defining a new generation of Chinese wine.

Places for both masterclasses are extremely limited. Anyone interested in attending should contact j.carson@carsoncarnevalewines.com directly to enquire about availability.

Discover C&C Wines

The tasting is also an opportunity for those who do not currently work with C&C Wines to meet our team and discover a different approach to wine distribution.

As a family-owned independent importer and distributor, our focus has always been on combining quality wines with exceptional service. Our Greater London on-trade customers benefit from our own distribution network and reliable same-day delivery at least five days a week, alongside flexible ordering, proactive account management, tastings, training and commercial support.

We believe a great wine supplier should do considerably more than simply deliver cases. We want to understand our customers, help develop their lists, introduce wines that excite their teams and guests, and build partnerships for the long term.

The Autumn Snapshot Portfolio Tasting is the perfect place to start.
